How good are the Detroit Pistons right now?

The Detroit Pistons are a professional basketball team based in Detroit, MI playing in the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Many Pistons fans may mistakenly believe the Pistons moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. However, they did not; they moved from Auburn Hills to Detroit before the season.

The Detroit Pistons played their 6th game of the new season in Los Angeles on Saturday night and if you only watched the first half, you probably saw this and immediately went to bed:

But the second half was more like this:

Hustle. Domination. Nuts in Austin Rivers' face, just because (metaphorically).

The Pistons came back in the 2nd half, down as many as 13 in the 3rd quarter, to beat the previously undefeated Clippers and improve to 4-2 on the young season. It was the Pistons' first win against the Clippers in LA since 2010 and first win in regulation at LAC since the 2008-2009 season. The Clippers were averaging 111 points in their first four games of the season and the Pistons held them to 87 on their home floor. Needless to say, it was a great win.

So, how good are the Pistons?

Cue Derek Zoolander looking at himself in a puddle just off the edge of the curb.

I don't know.

They probably won't finish Top 3 in the East, where they are now, but they should make the playoffs and photos of LCA should be a lot less post worthy at its expense.
